DS trouble

This was really a funny story. I heard this crying from upstairs last night. It was really loud crying, sobbing with tears. I thought DS was hurt or at least the girls were picking on him, he sounded so upset. So I go upstairs to check on him, and there he is with his stupid DS, playing this game and he is losing this turn! He is yelling at the gameboy, crying his eyes out, totally hilarious! It got to the point where his sister yelled at him to be quiet because she was trying to do her homework. Of course he told her to shut up (which I don't allow),  to which she replied "make me", and his turn was to tell her he was going to kill her. Needless to say, he lost his gameboy for the rest of the night! I don't tolerate language like that to begin with, but the intensity of his dispair over a game was ridiculous. Anyway, I thought it was kind of funny aside from all of that. I did sneak a couple of pictures of him playing though (like any good mother would :), right?) Here is the page I created with that , and here are the credits

DS-troubleWe got to spend some time at the pool the other day, the weather was so nice and who knows how many more times they will be able to swim. I hate to keep them inside and do nothing but homework, winter will be here soon enough. Of course the heater had been on and the water was like a bathtub, so they really had a good time (I turned the heater down now)/ We took some pictures of them under water, which looked really funny. And of course puppy kisses, which are the best kind of kisses in my DSC_0006book :) Today was another beautiful day, but we just didn't have the time to go out there, too much to do. Tomorrow maybe, DS is bringing a little classmate home to play, so we'll see how that's going to work out. He got his first note from the teacher today, I had really hoped we would be done with this nonsense. He was talking, laughing and making faces during assembly, plus he wasn't paying attention in class and goofing off. Well, I threatened him with the loss of his gameboy if I get another note, and I mean it. He knows that I am serious, enough is enough!  What a little pest he can be, LOL.DSC_0018  DSC_0016

I am sure DS will laugh at his over-emotions in years to come. Great layout to remember it by.

Lucky you to have lovely weather, ours has just changed to cold and raining :-(

Great layout, but the memories are priceless. Kids can be so overly dramatic as they learn to reign in their emotions can't they? So funny and serious at the same time. I'm sure this will make for some fun stories as he grows up. Although I do hope he listens better in class from now on. Ü

Thanks for sharing!

Kids and their toys! He will laugh about this one day! Great LO to capture the emotions. As far as the note--good luck. Kids will be kids. Taking that Game Boy away will be punishment for sure!

I just love the way you put a group of elements together in a layout. Looks great. And the puppy kisses shot is classic. Sorry for all the drama. This too shall pass.
