Seriously?

I don't know why I can't keep up with these blog posts for crying out loud. It's been over a month already again??? Yikes. Sorry, guys, it's just that nothing much exciting happens around here I guess. We are going through our daily routines of school, housework (if it can't be avoided) and all the little things of everyday. I changed my daily picture pages to Project Life, which to me is just another name for the same thing, it still  gives me the same results, but the supplies are so much cuter :) Katie created those amazing pocket pages, I just love them. There is such a nice variety and most of them are so cute,  I don't even want to change them up. Anyway, I am trying to keep up with all of that and so far I have been doing well. Sometimes they take me forever. Just getting the photos selected and fixed up takes a long time, plus everything else... maybe I am just lacking mojo lately.

Now, they are not in order, but you get the idea.

The weather around here has been wonderful! We have had summer temperatures in March, I just hope we won't suffer in May. My magnolia trees were in full bloom and then of course we got a night frost and they all turned to brown mush. I never have much luck with those in the spring. My peach trees are in full bloom, they don't seem to have suffered from the frost. I need to go out there with the girls and take some pictures in front of them. They are not being very cooperative...

The girls and I have been busy going to Zumba in the evenings. Last night Althea had her first class at Ace's. It was pretty crowded and lots of fun! That girl is really expanding her business, good for her! We certainly enjoy her classes. Saturday we will be part of a little Zumba demo at the Pasquerilla center downtown. We'll be on at 3 PM if anybody is interested :) Since I'm part of it I won't be able to get pictures, unless I step out for a minute. We'll see.

Got some more pages to show you

As you can see from the one page above, I have gotten into wine making :) It's only from kits right now, but my first batch turned out pretty darn good. Plus it's fun to go through the process. The finished product really reminds me of the country wine I used to buy in bulk and bottle myself when I lived in Italy. Those were the days LOL. Now I am making a Gewuerztraminer with a bit of apple flavor. I got to try it before I bought it. Not too sweet, just right. We'll see how that one will turn out. The only thing I don't like about the process is all the cleaning, that is so not up my alley :)

Gabrielle is getting closer to getting her driver's license. She has been putting in lots of hours driving and we just started practicing parallel parking, yikes! It's tough to convey that motion of turning the back of the car at the right moment... She'll get it eventually, she is getting pretty darn good on the road, needs a little more experience on the highway though, there is no room for error when you hit that ramp with traffic.

Poor thing injured her back last week so she had to lay off the Zumba, that is eating her alive! She was a major grump last night when she couldn't participate. At least she got to spend the hour with her Riley :) Those two have been dating for about 6 months now!

Michael discovered the part. The part in his hair that is! Wow! He looks 3 years older at least! Amazing what hair can do. You can see his picture on the second page I posted, I can't believe how much he has grown lately and how grown up he looks! Handsome little bugger. He has been going to football strengthening sessions on Mondays but I can still beat him at arm wrestling :) I'm sure that won't be for much longer!

Okay, I have to go and run a few errands, I'll try real hard to post more frequently for you people in Germany :) Keep in touch too!!!

Never say Never!

Well, here I am creating my very own blog! I was always very sure I would never get into this blogging "thing", but here I am. I hope you will enjoy finding out a little about my not so interesting life!
