Get Ready!

We are heading for the next quarterly sale at Designer Digitals and of course there is going to be an all day chat again. This time I am in the line up! Yikes! I hope you'll be able to join me at 9 AM, I'll be talking about title work, I thought that should be interesting! Here is the listing of all the chats for the day.

Today is Rachel's birthday, she is 13. Goodness, another teenager in the house, is that scary or what? Looks like we will be going out to dinner, that's what she was wishing for since we did that for Gabrielle last year. Sounds good to me, anything to get out of cooking!
It's been another crazy week, the days just seem to fly by. Last Saturday I spent all day at Karate, helping out with gup testing. At least I got a compliment this time, SaBomNim told me I did a good job controlling, Yay!

Tuesday was Rachel's appointment at Children's in Pittsburgh, she hadn't have an Echo done in four years, it was high time. She has Aortic Stenosis which at the moment isn't causing any symptoms and hopefully that will stay this way for a long time! Eventually she might have to have a valve replacement, but again, hopefully not until she is really really old! :) Just the thought makes me want to cry, my baby having to go through something like that! Her echo was okay, a slight increase in pressure, so we will repeat it in a year. If that one is okay, we will go back to every other year.

In between we did school shopping, piano lessons, karate, voice, practicing for cantoring and who knows what else. Busy, busy! Last night I was finally able to make a page again, it had been several days. I really don't like it when I can't scrap, I'd rather let the house clean itself.... oh yes, yardwork was another thing I did last week, cutting down bushes. I need to do more, my yard looks like a jungle anymore, really, it does! Usually when those moments of wanting to do work arrive, I'll sit at the computer until they pass :)

Today the sun came out again, we had a few really cool days, it felt like fall. I do not like that at all! Only here does August feel like autumn. It should be sweltering hot, shouldn't it? Oh well, Monday it's supposed to go back up to 86, of course, because that's when the kids are back in school!

Well, here are some of the pages I did

We went to the movies last week too, I forgot about that. The Sorcerer's apprentice, it was fun, I really enjoyed it!

Back to photos from Myrtle Beach, as you can see I don't scrap in order...:)

I got these cool shots of Michael last week, he looks so cute with his hair shorter, I love it!

This page was for a challenge. I lifted a framed picture that somebody gave to the choir, made by a local calligraphist. I always meant to copy it and I finally did it!

Max and Rachel :)

Max the Water hound

Now back to Hershey....

This was such a riot, every time I look at those pictures I feel like laughing :)

Okay, now I have to run, Rachel has voice in about 7 minutes. Always in a rush....

Come on, Anke! You make me tired. I am old and even reading this kind of schedule tires me out!!! LOL

So glad Rachel's test was good. Will be praying for a good one next year, so things return to normal.

You are a scrapping machine, girl!! Look at all those. All so perfect. Left warm fuzzies on DD!!

Have a good week and take a breath...OK?

Two teenagers. Do we need a prayer vigil??? LOL

you'll do great hosting a chat. Hope I can be on it.

Another teenager--they are growing too fast anke. slow down the clock.

It's sweltering hot here. Going to have a cold front come through this week end and the temperature is supposed to plummet to a whopping 91. LOL!!

For someone who claims to live a boring life, you couldn't be more wrong! And make me more tired just reading about what you are up to.

I'm glad Rachel's test came out well. Good luck having two teenagers. I'll look you up for advice when I have them! *Ü*

Your layouts are fabulous! The only thing I saw was on the hat one, high school should have a space. *Ü*

Good luck hosting your chat! That's awesome!

Never say Never!

Well, here I am creating my very own blog! I was always very sure I would never get into this blogging "thing", but here I am. I hope you will enjoy finding out a little about my not so interesting life!
